Seed School in a Day is a powerful, one-day workshop aimed at shifting the seed paradigm back into the hands of our communities. Seed School in a Day offers a comprehensive overview of seed knowledge covering the history, science, business, and craft of seeds. Practical, hands-on activities are balanced with engaging lectures to provide a fun and interactive learning experience.

Our lead instructors, Bill McDorman and Belle Starr, are co-founders of the Rocky Mountain Seed Alliance, former co-directors of the seed conservation group Native Seeds/SEARCH, and passionate seed educators. Following the workshop, participants will understand why bio-regional seed saving is so important and they will gain the necessary skills to begin their seed saving adventure!

Class tuition**:  $15 for educators and Slow Food members, $30 for non-members.

**The discounted cost for this Seed School in a Day reflects underwriting from Slow Food Prescott and community donations. Price includes lunch.

Course location: Mountain Oak School, 1455 Willow Creek Road, Prescott, AZ 86301
